The article states that the rate will go from $9.64 to $10.52 per $1,000 of valuation - that is $.88 per $1000. Later the article claims that "The median price is $50 higher in taxes for the residential homeowner". But still later it says "The median home value is $289,000". The math does not work. If the rate is going up $.88 then the increase for an owner of the median home ($289,000) would ...
