http://groups.yahoo.com/group/freecycleseekonkma/ is the site for offering free stuff to others to reuse, reduce, recycle and keep useful things out of landfills. You can also ask for things you are looking for that others may want to get rid of. It reaches a far wider audience than putting things out on the sidewalk, which works well around here except in bad weather. And everything asked for and offered must be FREE!

Welcome to FreecycleSeekonk!! The concept is simple. You have an item you no longer need(a couch, bike)and want to recycle it rather than throw it away. Or you're looking for a specific item and you'd love to get it for free from someone who no longer wants it. You can post ads for items to give away and/or find. The only requirement, and best part, is that all transfers must be FREE.
