Players would be totally lost and confused without the benefit and assistance of loud, obnoxious parents screaming highly detailed instructions from the sideline of every soccer game.

Not!!

Obviously, intelligence and civility is not a requirement for reproduction.

Ahh the joys of the weekend soccer game Smile

KICK IT! Tactics...what tactics....just...KICK IT!

As a Coach that makes me cringe.

Part of this behavior falls on the program itself. For years their has been a lack of "training" for the parents. Seekonk Soccer is working toward bridging that gap from KICK IT to PASS THE BALL, towards promting the tactics of the game.

It will take a few seasons but the sidelines should grow more constructive as the parents are educated about what we are teaching the players.
